Topic: Miki: Going for a pro card-2009 ;-) You can do it, Pam! Marguerite, yeap, at the gym by 5:45am. I do feel more energy when I workout early mornings. It's really great. Today however, was very cold and windy. Don't enjoy that, I must say.. Annette, I started this heavy with Sean when I went to Evansville and he 'made' me do 330x30 with a moster set of sumo and hack squat.I thought I was going to die. Now, I try going for 420x15. I did 330 because it was a yo-yo set. Very tough! I am stronger then I though; there's no doubt about it. I'm doing 3-4 days a week of cardio. But is not high intensity. No, Joe didn't have me do the amount of cardio I'm doing. I made that decision based on not having to do too much later on. I'm really busy today so I'll post my workout later on today. |

Topic: Miki: Going for a pro card-2009 ;-) Hi everyone! Marguerite, I do wear a monitor as well and it does take the focus away from time. I also listen to music and kind of get lost in it. Good job, Annette. That's great you can do 50# curl. I'm going for 60 as well the next time I do biceps. Today was legs, but I forgot the program Sean wrote for me and had to remember what I had to do. Squat: 6 sets all together and up to 100lbs. Sean only wanted 95 because it was a hifg volume day, but I wanted more. yo-yo leg press: 10 reps of 330#, 15 reps of 280 and back to 10 reps of 330#. (3 work sets) Leg extension: 75# up to 50 reps, but that was challenging and had to stop a couple of times. Ouch! Leg curl: 60x20. I did other leg workouts, which can't remember now. Abs. Cardio: 30 minutes incline 3.2 at a 12% incline. I'm toast! |

Topic: MOT's journey to increase her muscle mass I remember when I was on the pill, like 100 years ago. I was also very bloated and didn't know till I got off it. What a surprise!

Topic: Miki: Going for a pro card-2009 ;-) Good morning! Michele, it was VERY windy yesterday. I took my dogs for a walk about 3:15 and my little Sophie nearly blew away. It was scarry, but funny at the same time. Biceps/triceps today. The great breakthrouh was going up to 45 lbs on BB curls. Cardio: 30 minutes treadmill 3.2 at 12% incline. I should be getting better on this, but I really dislike cardio. I have to find a way to push myself on this.. |

Topic: Annette's "Transition" for Spring 2009 Annette, my husband likes women thin as well. Not necessarily muscular, but thin. When I first met him, he didn't understand why I wanted muscles, but now he appreciates it. It didn't matter to me as I do what I want, not what someone thinks I should do. However, he's a helpful eye to get me back to reality when I'm thinking I look dreadful. I'm also embarassed if I put what I think is too much weight on, but as Michele said, I'm enjoying the process of putting a few lbs. Besides, I don't have the aches and pains that comes from being too lean.

Topic: MC's last 3 weeks of dieting...then it's time to build! Glad you enjoyed your massage. With this sport, is very necessary to get a massage. It relieves the tension we put ourselves through. I used to get it once a week, but who has the time? Now is once a month.

Topic: Annette's "Transition" for Spring 2009 I know how hard that is, Annette. In my case is years of modelling and that people see beauty when one is thin and I got used to that. I'll never change my mind about that, I know. But, one suggestion I can give you, and I'm trying to do the same. Give yourself a weight you think you can be comfortable with and don't go up beyond that. For me is 112lbs off season. I'd not go to 115 NOW. That said, once I see what I look like on the on season with this weight, I can adjust. But I'll never be above size 4. I don't think I can handle that. I don't want to handle that. I think thin and that's the only way I know how to think.

Topic: Miki: Going for a pro card-2009 ;-) Good morning! Marguerite, I get up at 4:30am, have breakfast, walk my dogs at 5:15 and at the gym before 6am. It's crazy, but I get home before 8 to shower. If O don't do that I feel I wasted half a day. I do cardio after weights. At some poin I'll start doing fasted cardio, but I'm not ready just yet. Thanks, Pam! Michele, today will be another dready rainy day. Hopefully tomorrow will be sunny. I'm going to chill today and do some shoping at Barneys and Bergdorf's. That's because they're only a few block away from home, or I'd rather stay home and rest. Have a good weekend everyone! |
