Topic: Summerset...Going for the Gold Good morning.... Had a good leg workout yesterday. I went to the gym at an odd time. It was so nice. There was hardly anyone there and I didn't have any interruptions which was good because I was doing monster sets. My butt is feeling it today. I'm displaced again. I have china and crystal all over my desk so I'm in the basement family room with my laptop. At least it's comfy. I'm ready for my kitchen. Yesterday they only got the rest of the ceilings painted so it was hard to see that they had done much. I hope today when i get home I find mustard and green walls. I'm getting anxious. Cardio, abs/calves today then I have a doctor's appointment. At least I'll get to get cleaned up and out of the house. TGIF, right? |

Topic: Baby Girl's log You ladies can take me out :) We can have dinner and you watch me in disgust at the sheer volume i get....Shellie, sarah just started with joe and came over today and saw me eating her macros in a single sitting and dropped her jaw haha.
Encourage her on face book and send her ways to maximize her food at the low macros!

Topic: Baby Girl's log Jane, that sounds fun. I'll have to do that! Today is better than yesterday. Dentist appt, grocery shopping, then at the last minute, I got called to sub teach Zumba class. So, I lifted weights (total body circuit) & then taught Zumba. I had a blast. I am so glad I did it. I forgot how much fun it was & how good it felt when I was finished. |

Topic: Char's Outta Control! Char, I was wondering the same thing. I used to hop out of bed at 4am wide away and ready to go. Not any more. I got so much more done when I was working out and doing cardio every day! More energy too. Except for the last 2 weeks of prep.

Topic: Char's Outta Control! Thanks. I tried not to focus on the weight gain and just continued with what I was doing. Woke up this morning and I'm now down 1.4 lbs. Go figure. Trained calves this morning (didn't have time to get abs in as I slept in). Is it normal to be more tired in your "growing season"? I'll tell you, last year when I was dieting for my show and training everyday, etc., I had tons of energy. I'd stay up till after midnight and couldn't sleep more than 4 hours at a time and be wide awake. NOW?? I'm dead. Tired. Getting to bed by 10pm, but still wishing I had more sleep when the alarm goes off in the morning. Am I growing????? Funny because I'm training less, but with more intensity. Dunno, just curious. Calves this morning: smith machine calf raise = 15 @ 175 lbs, 12 @ 200 lbs, 12 @ 225 lbs, 10 @ 235 lbs leg press calf raise = 20 @ 115 lbs, 30 @ 105 lbs, 40 (30x10) @ 95 lbs, 50 (25x25) @ 75 lbs standing calf raise = 30 @ 180 lbs, 30 @ 180 lbs, 30 @ 185 lbs Calves suck!!!! The leg press calf raise really beat me up. I'm good on the first two sets and then bomb on the last two. Pushed to absolute max! |

I'm up a pound this morning. From the leg workout? I did have a piece of french bread pizza after the workout. It fit in my macros, but it did have a lot of sodium. I'm looking forward to the busy weekend.
