 Spread!!! the word...I must tell you that  at one time  this was like candy to me (DIET COKE)...UNTIL..I had a hard time even walking !!! no joke.. every bone in my body hurt ....I HAD MANY DOCTORS LOOK AT ME...AND NOTHING " !!! and test after test..LIKE YOU SAY I was told , this maybe a start of MS..they were getting ready to implant a morphine pump into my lower back...and I was willing......(pain will work on you )

 Aspartame.. artificial sweetners  were killing me.. this was  back in 1993,I was in a car wreck could not work  OR work out, started on diet everything !!! and than  the side affects.. it took me  3 years.. alot of medical treatment ..that was un-called for ... and  I had worked very hard in  studying this subject.. as soon as I put this all together. I knew what  I had done .. I had  doctors pushing me onto total disability.. saying I will never work again..and will never lift weights and compete ever...that was all in the past............ WRONG!!!

 I had to push my way back  up .. because  the medication I was using was very addictive... and I  had some pain.. and I mean pain..swelling  joints..ect.. Thank God.. I was able to  find out what I was doing to my body....it is hard to stay away from this stuff ,it is in soooo. much...of our drinks foods ,and ect..  I stay clear as much as I can..it is in  alot of things.. take a look !!!

Tell were are they holding  the Yorton Cup at this year?   is  it in Pittsburgh or Fla? I enjoyed doing that show .. lets see that was back in 2005 I was 2nd place , THEY HELD  held  the Yort Cup  in Ft.Lauderdale FL...that was such a fun year...    and I won best Poser Award...The OCB.. was very enjoyable.. I had done like  five shows that year .. it was GREAT.. in fact I had Won my Pro- Card  for the NGA !  that year .. wow.. I was cleaning house... what a season that was..

 Butch and I  have  worked  with  the OCB, with  a few  shows, and I  have   had the opportunity to  do some   Judging  for the OCB.. ..This is  good news for me..  Pittsburgh is my home town... I know Stasi , has always been the head Judge.. for the Yorton Cup.. they run a nice show.... if you are in Pittsburgh.. you  just might see me  .. and If so and  you need any help while you are at that show, let me know !..  .. keep me posted..  I need to stop by and see everyone.. Rodger has been the one  running that , not sure if he  is this year ..  and if  this is held Fla.. well.. for sure  I will be over to support you LADY!!!!!.. sounds like a good time..AND THE GOAL IS  NO SURVIVORS...OH YA... Long term studies on the joints,,has been fascinating to me. I have work on the race track  for   most of my life , I'm a  licensed Thoroughbred Trainer ...

   I had such a intrest in  how the  Thoroughbred Race Horse..was trained for conditioning and speed.     along with this came major injury.. the injury.rate is so high .. ( and  talk about steriod use..oh my , the effects are  un- acceptable .)  I was   amazed  so I  had turned  this  into a study .. I bought  the horses with joint and  broken leg injurys  and rehabilitated  many.. 

 I have  had one of the best opportunity in my life .(and that was  to  worked along side  a  one of the best veterinarians (in this type of work..) he was a surgical orthopedic vet. wow.. he was good.. 

 We have done alot of research on the joint wear and also on arthritis- in young Thoroughbred  race horses, this has  included alot of  injections  into the joint for anti-inflammatory..( not the best results if  used long term.)   it is amazing to see  just what happens in- side that joint..I have seen many ..     The best medication that I have  seen results with is call adequine..(not sure of the spelling)

 This was  proven to me ,that it did  help  the synovial fluid in the joint..   I have seen great results in  horses  this is  now being used  on humans.. what I have learned about the  joint  issue such as knees, elbows ect..    is  interval training is an extremley  powerful  method of training the cardiovascular and muscular systems, what I have seen  (in horses) is the muscles become  to powerful for the  connective sheaths and tendons,The result is serious injuries to the joints,(again steriods are used hvy..) I think at times we  bodybuilders do this  we hurry up for the heavy weight .. the basic  problem  with body strengthenthing is the long recovery (adaption) periods  necessary  to get biological response and improvement.it is pointless to rush  through a eight week preparation  which  may give you  powerful muscles, to a degree, but only to  cause structural weakness our body needs  time to develope ,should start with a pre-training and be  progressive  and specifc, and  listen to your body ..  

if it causes any joint pain ...change  is a must.. working through the pain is not the best idea..   as to what I have seen in the long term effects.. they end up with no joint..that is in the horse world!..  ask the DOC! he will have the best IDEA..  

Hello Nancy- just got back on the forum , life has been crazy......! just had to make a trip  back up to Pittsburgh,Pa.( that is two in the last ten days "ahhhh..)  I hope that is it  for a month or so..

 .. I can agree with you on this one ! the WNBF is Exciting.. I get all fired up..I just love  getting around this wonderful group of people " it is a great time.. so  lets get fired up !!!and may the best win!...

  Butch  is doing so.so.., he still has a shoulder & neck.. that is  causing him alot  of  pain,   well Doc Star.. has put her foot down.. it is time for the MRI.... no more  playing around with this..  it is time to get to the root !!!

I bring home all kinda of wild life! hurt  birds, dogs ,  yep.. and  than the vet bills.. and ect.. and in fla these are some BIG birds..she had a broken leg.. stopped and put her in the truck.. my husband says  ok( EllieMay now what do you have. out back...even a little goat one day!)  so I try to follow the rules.. ahh so I break a few..but no more dogs.. sorry..

As for the cat ... I would  get killed if I bring home one more cat or dog.. this week... just about  twice a month  I  seem to find any stray  dog that is around !.. last week it was a jack..just minding my own, doing my cardio, and next thing I know he is  following me home.. so I put him/her in the back yard  until I find the owner , and in the mean time.. well back out I go  with the staple gun..posting signs..FOUND..

Butch says he thinks I'm stealing dogs , and holding the dogs... hostage a few days  waiting until the owner post a reward..than look out collection time..$$$$$$$$$$..hey every dollar helps!  bodybuilding is not cheap !!! (LOL)

 this man is giving me gray hair...   or either that  he is trying to get me into  the medical field instead of the education.... I have had to be  his  nurse for the last   four years in a row..  like I told him this one is going to  cost him big time $$$$$$$  and  the best part he want s to take my solo seat off my bike so we can both ride.. on mine.. while his is getting re-built...I just like to keep him on his toes.. I said Oh.. are you  on back.... 

 he said....NEVER!!!(LOL)  imagine that  a man with a ego?

I must say, I would't want to be without him.. he has the best out look on life... and we  enjoy  each day.. no matter what  storm may blow in.. just hang on !!!

Patti, we ride  with a group the Sons Of God.. and I know that feeling..  we have appx 250..bikes that make some long trips..  ( I do not like large groups..) I have seen some   death  related .. acc/  but   we all know that ....  when you ride.. you know what  can happen..  I  guess it is life.. and I will be darn if this will stop me !!!  I will be riding in AUG!  for sure.. ( lets hope his bike is out of the shop.. ) ..after this .. I'm not to sure if i will let him on mine... (lol) his is all beat up.....( I thank God that is all..)

if you get the chance  read (sorry it's alittle long.) under  off the topic... what happened tonight, with my husband..  we  ride  diff/bike ! but... it can happen.". we travel all over  long distance.. and tonight was a freak.. 

 just  stay on your  toes.. the road is not safe! People are nuts...  he said the other drivers  had seen  him  down  on the road... and drove around him..   never even stopped !!! to help...       Ride Safe...

Well this is off the topic, I just want to share , what happened  tonight"

we have Sunday evening church, Thank god, I  stayed home to do my cardio! this was one time That I can say this and mean it...  THANK GOD for the cardio....

Butch went  to church ...( on the motorcycle ) as we always do .. this time I would have been on my own bike  behind him.. wow.. Glad I stayed home..for CARDIO! .

 he  was stopped at a red light,and hit from behind , the car that hit him was hit from behind from another car full force , the car that was pushed into Butch.. he heard  it  and hit the throttle on his bike.

 he was hit  from behind and threw him and the bike into the air this is not a small machine a flhx..h/d..... he said he just hung on and down the bike slammed to the ground,on it 's side with him still on .. as he slid down the road into traffic.. just about got hit by a car,  crawled off the road... all  body parts are still in tack ! wow..

 some road rash  we spent  the night at the ER.. bike  not looking to good!!!! and  we are  nuts..about  our machines...  but that  can always be replaced..

 as for my  buddy... they x-rayed him head to toe.. and  the doc said .. go home..  and rest some ..but keep moving.. WRONG THING TO TELL ME......   HE will Be at the gym in the AM........

   that Doc.. looked at me in the ER.. like what  is this  ? YEP.. they caught me in my CARDIO..OUTFIT.. and a great hair style...  all I can say is MY GOD IS GOOD!!!! I still have the best  work out partner!!!  for the am.. and he is going .. this is my time to get even !!! what a Night..
