Try meal planning on Sunday.  Zeb and I cook all of our meals for the week on Sunday's.  I put a piece of paper on the top of the container that states all the macros.   By the time we are done, the fridge is pack (20 meals)  and we are exhausted but have no trouble going to bed.  Then if something happens during the week that caused you to get home late or your just tired, you don't have to worry about planning everything out.

Craig,The only person Zeb didn't really enjoy was Gary Allen.  he was just down right horrible.  He knew a few songs from everyone else except Keith Urban.  Even if ou don't like Keith Urban (neither of us are fans) he put on a great concert.

Zeb and I have been to the Dominican (stayed at an all-inclusive)and the US Virgin Island 2 times(once at The Westin & once renting a house).  They are both great places.  Virgin Islands was the best.  St. John is just beautiful.  Laid back atmosphere and great hole in the wall bars that play great reggae and island music.  If you like Kenny Chesney, he also visits there around September for 3 months.  They say you can see him hanging out with the locals and some times he puts on a concert in the water at the British Virgin Islands (a must go place if you should decide to go the US Islands).  Dominican, it is advised you do not leave your hotel.  Not a lot to do at either place except relax and snorkel.  If you want more details about both, let me know.

I don't compete but I am on the supportive side of it plus I also did Joe's transformation.  I'm Patti's daughter-in-law so I have 3 people who are competing.  Zeb and I cook together every Sunday.  We both work nights so we cook meals for all week.  We also work out and cardio together.  I tend to be the creative one with meals so I try to help come up with things he can change so he doesn't get bored with the same ol' thing every day and every week.

Since I am not competing, I still get to have cheat meals and fix any cravings I have.  When I have a craving, I leave and go get whatever it is that I want and eat it out of site of the three of them.

Outside of the family, friends just don't understand healthy living!

That is just the Evansville airport.  It is a tiny tiny airport with like 3 airlines.  They are always higher then everyone else.

They are like crack.  I made these for my husband and they were gone within a day because we couldn't stop eating them.  I had to stop due to the fat in the PB.

If you and Steve drive over, let me know.  I am sure Zeb would be interested.  Probably one of those trips like the Arnold.  We would get home from work and he would get in the car with you guys to go.

Zeb and I have found the same thing with his friends.  I for one have never been a drinker and I put a wedge in between him and his friends right away.  I am very vocal about drinking and driving.  When we first met, the stories they would tell about getting plastered and then not knowing how they got home but their car was in the drive way.  All they ever did was go to bars and get plastered.  It was everyone's goal to get me to drink. When they couldn't succeed, I was a prude.

Now that Zeb doesn't drink, he has found that they really don't have much in common anymore.  Like Summerset said, no one wants to be around someone that drinks water all the time.  Or works out all the time.  They just don't get the lifestyle.  But this comes from people that drink every weekend at bars and clubs and then wonder why they are gaining so much weight.  Now when we do meet up, we stay for like 30 minutes and we go to the gym and they venture to the bars.  We are offically known as "grandma & grandpa."

We to had a hard time accepting it but we are much happier where we are.  We look and feel better then we have in a long time.  I wouldn't change it for anything.

I've come to realize that we will never be happy with the way we look.  I look at myself in the mirror and still think puke, I look horrible.

 Zeb's comments to me when we left......I just got my A$$ kicked by a bunch of people that are old enough to be my parents.....  He might have went 275 but you guys smoked his butt!!!!

Wow, it is shocking to me to think that anyone who knows you would think you were poking fun at someone for showing emotion.  If that was the case, why would you have a career (very successful career) in helping people get health?  It seems like they really don’t know you at all. 

I agree with everything you said.  For someone to not be man (or woman) enough to say something to you about it personally shows what type of person they are too.  I graduated high school a long time ago.  When I have a problem with someone, I speak to them about it.  I don’t run behind their back and bitch. 

Like Sean said, if you don’t like what you are reading, because you can’t see the humor, go to a different site.  No one asked you to come into our world in the first place, you came to us.

With being said, I love this forum.  Even though I don’t post much, I read it everyday.  It is nice to know people have the same issues.  It is also nice to have somewhere to talk to people that understand what you are doing.  I don’t compete (SO FAR SEAN HAS FAILED IN HIS QUEST TO CONVINCE ME TO) but the goal is to look like I do so I train and eat that way.  People at work and my family don’t understand.  All they see is that I have lost so much weight.  I hear all the time, “Don’t go anorexic on us” “You need to gain weight!” or the best one that everyone hears “you look sick…gain weight” These comments come from my overweight co-workers and family members…enough said.  They are jealous.  They are unhappy with their own lives so they need to bitch about mine.  I try not to associate with people like that.  They are miserable and they bring you down.

Whenever I am stressed or feeling depressed this is one of the places I go to lift me up.  Most of the time it is at work.  A pin drop could be heard it is so quite and all of the sudden, an outburst of laughter.  I look around and people are looking at me like I am crazy.  It’s a great stress reliever! 

My advices, if you can’t see the humor, don’t read it.  There are plenty of other threads with information.  

JenGa – I think what you and Kori have started it awesome.  It makes people feel better to know they are not alone.  You can’t keep things inside, it will make you go insane.  

Scary crap.  We had just been home about 15 minnutes when the first one hit.  My first thought was, "what the hell is my husband doing!!"  Then it got louder and stronger.  Zeb started yelling at me that it was an earthquake and to get under a doorway and I am running around the house trying to find my dog.  Patti always tells me that if I treat my kids half as good as my dog, that she isn't worried.  At least she knows my maternal instincts kicked in.  I was worried about my kid more then myself.

The 4.6 aftershock woke us up at 10:15.

To date, since I met my husband I have experienced - my first car wreck...we should both be dead from it, my first house fire, and now my first earthquake.  Most people would say that wasn't a good sign.

I see your comment, but you left one thing out, you have 2 wonderful grand dogs.  How could you forget.  Congrats on starting your page, now if you could only get your son to do it too.

I posted the pics on my myspace account.  We didn't get to many of the competitors on stage.  Our batteries were dead on the good camera when we got there.  Most of the pics are from the expo.

Don't worry, Patti is good at getting your picture whether you want her to or not.  She will get it done.  Trust me.  I hate picture and try like hell to hide from them.  She still manages to get some!
