Topic: Timing Thanks Mary, I don't want to piss in anybody's cherrios. On another note I just tried the Diet Doc protein powder chocolate flavor. Very good stuff, I especially like that it uses stevia as a sweetner and that the protein comes from the US. |

Topic: Why not just count kcal's I'm having this discussion with a friend who gets pretty lean from just counting calories. He swears by it and teaches the same to his clients. I know the thermic effect of food is important, but is there anything else I can throw out there that would help the argument for macro counting instead of just kcals?

Topic: The paleo diet I was wondering if anybody else has read this book. Basically no starchy carbs, only veggies, fruit and lean meats. Has anyone tried this? |

Topic: Macros for fat loss Thanks Dr. Joe That picture is from '01 I was 185lb. I'm too embarrassed to post an updated one. You helped me go from 252 down to 214 a couple years ago and I forgot what macros you had said would keep me on track. Anyways diet for me is mostly a mental state and I'm on that path. I appreciate your guys feedback. |
