Miki - absolutely.  You are cutting now so it's nothing we can build - all a matter of presentation.

Obviously I'm the only one that sees the fluff.

But I look for it until I find it...and here it is yet again:

It's most apparent in the front sym and side shot...

...a white fourlegged fluff walking down the hallway!

; )

Mik - you look stunning -- better than ever.

oh that was mean.

Herc - did I hear you say "posing clinic."  You got it, and you know I got your back...figuratively and literally:  I've had my eye on your posing, this avatar included.

Go to "programs" on this site and read about the Posing program.  You can also do webcam sessions with me.

You know how to contact me on multiple boards.  Let's talk.

Alan, I'm not going to talk much here.   A stud that forgets - minimizes rumors - that's important.

"Was it good?"  You and the WNBF Amazon?  Think about that...you should be done thinking by now.

PS - I'm not working hard enough in the gym and I need to take things up a notch.

Topic: The Front Stance in Figure

symmetry is one of the biggest issues in both the line-ups within which Kori stands.  Other than Kori's that is.

How did the girl in neon orange do Kori, after you?  then the neon pink?

PS- color of suit is a big deal for me.  you come out looking like a piece of bubble gum  -- it's just too..saccharine.  thoughts ladies?

Topic: Cooking with creatine and/or glutamine

Char heating creatine:

There are two ways you can approach this and both will get the same result: the creatine naturally found in meats or heating creatine up as a supplement. Both will break it down into a "less usuable form."  It may even break it down it into a premature form of creatinine.  (creatinine is a broken down form of creatine that is elliminated via kidneys.)

either way  - answer is not good.   This is why if you just eat a lot of red meat you will not get same effect as if you supplement with natural raw creatine.

You can eat raw meat though.....

Topic: Cooking with creatine and/or glutamine

In general terms and in reactions that occur over time, heat breaks down molecules.

Conversely cold preserves them.  Even in cold, molecules will break down (eventually)  over time.

Basically the more heat, the less time.  It depends on how stable the macronutrient or enzyme or vitamin is.   This is something that we consider intuitively with the nutrients in our food.  Quickly grilling on extremely high heat, and microwaving is more detrimental to nutrients values than say, steaming, broiling or baking over a longer period of time.

Topic: The Front Stance in Figure

Speaking in general terms, most of the other women on that stage are not carrying enough muscle and they are holding too much bodyfat to look at a WNBF pro card in figure.  There are other issues with the other competitors as well....

Regarding BB Kori is not lean enough in that picture to compete against WNBF Pro female lightweight body builders.  If she were competing on a pro WNBF stage (the most professional ranking and most prestigious natural pro body builders in the world) she would stand next to women striated to the bone, with veins running down their adductors, ripped-up glutes, and backs resembling mosaic tile work.  When Kori competes in Pro Figure she diets down to a certain bf% and when she competes in bodybuilding (as a pro) she dials bf% even lower.

Muscularity?  no she is not too muscular, not by any means Eric.  If you are figure, and you are a WNBF pro, we expect for you to have appropriate levels of muscularity.  We do not expect for you to have absurd levels of muscle.  That is usually unheard of in a female anyway - if you look at most of our females - especially our light weights.

Topic: Cooking with creatine and/or glutamine

Char I looked into that glutamine question in 2002.  Glutamine, as Layne says, is unstable.  Some forms of it more than others - and it depends on where it's derived.  (How it's derived, the organisms used, and which forms of glutamine are more or less stable is beyond my limited knowledge.)  As Layne suspects, it is destroyed by cooking or even adding to a warm beverage.

And we're not just talkin'  heat from cooking....glutamine is unstable with heat in storage.  I'd avoid purchasing multiple jugs of glutamine powder that you find at a good price, then store them in your attic or a hot garage in the summer time.  I keep mine in the fridge year round.

I really don't know what was going on in their heads to be honest.  When you see a competitor on stage, live, turning, posing and breathing, it's different than in a still shot.

There are seven judges too.

Not fair for Sean to have all that fun.

Topic: Joe o's road to recovery

hey guys...

something makes me just know that when Big Joe O says he was "screaming in agony" and it was "throbbing searing searing pain" that there is no exaggeration there.

I do sumo deads all the time and I so don't want to rupture my quad tendons.  I'm glad it's getting better Joe.

I'll take 48 hours of labor followed by a botched natural child birth and an emergency c sec all over again...than do what you went thru even once.

Topic: Joe o's road to recovery

I'm so glad you are home too.  That must have been gruesome.  I know you're gonna mend quick.  You are such an animal with that 560.  What was that, you told me - but I can barely wrap my brain around what you had on that bar: first the bar, then 10plates, 2 25's, 2 5's and 2 2.5's.  Had you ever done that before?  You must have if you went for it like that.  wow Joe, just wow.

....and you live to talk about it is the incredible part...what was more painful, the rupture or just looking at that beast of a bar?  You'll be doing so many dips your upper body is going to explode.

I wanted to get a visual on this so I found this, is this right?: http://www.arthroscopy.com/quadrep.htm

my bad, 11. wow.  Where are you placing the second cardio, meal wise, to maximize fat loss?  Did he advise?

If I try to do that many cardios he slaps me.

He wants 7 per week so that's all I'm doing right now.  At some point I have to push along some fat loss- because I'm hauling a lot of ass here.

Yes I'd like to know when the competition is again.   Good point MC about the protein grams, you are making me appreciate the size of my meals more too.  Thanks for that.  My last meal had  4 oz of protein - I was hungry 30 minutes later. I have another hour to go.  I'm gonna have a cup of green tea and hit the cardio deck.
