I am with you, I love BB. When I was a am I would do NABBA shows they let you do 6 BB poses and routines...I am so glad the INBF brought in Fit Body..Like you I am long limbed and adding the size to do BB is damn near impossible...I do love figure thou

Kira at Vandella Costumes is awesome-She has done my suits for years and I always get lots of compliments. Im glad to see you are crossing over. When I looked at you in IN, I really thought your body was better suited for figure, but I could see your heart wanted BB, so I kept my thoughts to myself.(good call for saying something Mary) With Fit Body now you can kinda do both.

Hi Everyone!

I am so sorry for being MIA- been crazy busy with life and getting all the details ready for the INBF show I am promoting in DC.

I spent two weeks in in CA..half of the time I was sick with the flu, but..I got the job done..

Duke and I spent time in SOCAL and drove down the cost to NOCAL. The cost line was breathtaking..we saw elephant seals, dolphins and SD surfers..lol

After looking at homes and communities in San Diego and Sacramento..We have decided that SD is where we need to be..that and my family and best friend lives there...

So it is San Diego or bust for me..My house is for sale and I am already brainstorming how I will "reinvent" myself in SD ...here I am known as "Go to Figure Coach", there i will be sum figure chick..

Thank you for all the advise and feedback..I am sorry I could not meet up with many of you guys, the flu got the best me..

Just a quick post, I'm running out to see a few clients...and I will be delivering the funds from the tank sales today...over the holiday season and at Joe's, The "I Train Like a Girl" tees raised a little under 1k to help abused children..Thanks Everyone!

I had a GREAT time! Joe, thank you for inviting me. It was great to see the Figure Women Train Like a Girl's and pose like a Diva's..I hope more jump on board in 09...It was so nice to feel that sense of family with people that share your love and passion for the sport. I was telling Kori that the INBF/WNBF athletes are down to earth caring people and she will be at home when it comes to stage day..

I will down load pics and video as soon as I get a minute. I have to get ready for 2-weeks in Sunny CA!!!! whoo hooo....

Duke and I are hold a INBF PQ here in DC June 7th, 08. We are really excited, since there are NO inbf shows in this area.

We have...

1. Kira from Vandella Costumes making the overall winners custom comp suits (yup she is the one that made my red suit this year)

3. The men and women overall BB'er get a custom made lifting belt

First, WOW to be mentioned in the same thread as Jamie Eason, that just made my year!  She is beautiful and I admire her success.

Yes, Mary is dead on...Duke and I do share the same last name, (yes we have made sure there is no shared blood) but we are not married. Most people think we are. Mary is also correct that we are very much in love, more so now that we are in our off-season. Duke and I are taking the plunge and he is moving in next month. Since we plan to move to CA in 08 we figure that it would be a good idea to live together first.

Duke is a big boy and is flattered when someone thinks I am attractive, so in less you have a box of crispy creams and you are not sharing you will be ok with him. Ohh and he is a great guitarist so I am thinking he would do well at guitar game.

PS..I just saw the picture of Joe and I....You can thank me ladies, I said "Joe we have to make you like a sexy doc, take your shirt off and flex your abs"...lol that shoot was a lot of fun with tons of laughing...

I heard my name...Yes, nerves are very normal for any of us. Yet as a figure competitior we have to make it our job to show confidence and energy. I try to teach my clients to have fun know your poses and "hit and hold" you never want to frig it or look down, and above all else PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! congrats Rene I hope to meet you soon!

I was able to get my shoulders to grow implementing some power lifting explosive moves..be careful though I tweaked my lower back..  I was not wearing my belt thou

First off Congrats to both you and Sean, This will be a great show! Count me in---For helping! I am taking 08 off.  Joe/Sean seriously I am happy to judge if you need a qualified judges I judge both Figure and BB. I'm judging Worlds next week, with 225 people that is going to be long. Throw Duke's name in there to he will be happy to help as well.  he is also off in 08..

 It sounds like a lot of us are geared for the caymans in 09! That is my first show in 09 (okay I may hit Rodney's show just before). So count me in for the caymans and I will not give the judges a reason to look past me

I love SoCal but I can not afford it. Duke and I will be opening a Doggy Resort ...like high end type of place for dogs and some extras, so we need to buy a house with land and thus far Placer is the only County I am finding I can get a nice house with land and still be some what close to a city..Also I never want to see snow again and I find a lot of natural athletes in that area which is good for Duke's biz and my Figure Coaching. I really want to rent for awhile but that will depend on a lot of factors.

Ideally I would be in a Year Round Warm Seattle...awhh that would be heaven... ohh yeah that is Monterey..when I become rich beyond belief I will move there....so for now I'm trying to find something close to that.

I will be is San Diego to visit my Pop and best Friend then I will make my way to North Cali, I would like to hook up with you all on my way for lunch or some training. Duke will need someone that can spot him when he take 600lbs ass to to floor...all I can do is call 911 if he goes down...lol

Yeah it was easily one of the hardest decisions I had to make. I must have cried on and off for days. Only you guys would understand my sorrow. I had to be honest with myself, between loosing weight from being sick and having a family issue that I had to be apart I could not pull my body back from the havoc the flu put on me. I have been dieting since April and my body simply gave up. It really is heart breaking. I have wanted to do Worlds for 7 years. This was the first year that I had the confidence to do it. I felt at least I wont look like I don't belong on the stage and I was going for it. My body and mind took another route. I wanted to push on and try to recover, but I knew in my heart I would not be my best and I was not going to embarrass myself or my fellow athletes and walking on stage at Worlds looking half ass. It is hard because Duke is still doing Worlds and he is now getting excited, I will never let him know but it kills me to see him getting ready to do my "dream show". I want him to do it and I support him 110%, yet it is still gut wrenching.

I do look forward to seeing all of there and will be happy to help any way I can.

I just got off the phone with my best girl who is going to Placer County Thursday to search for homes. She is telling me this area is very similar to what you just stated Bob, as far as having trails, mountains, skiing, lakes close by. Growing up in Seattle I love that diversity, but hate the rain and snow. The one thing about Placer County is the housing is cheap (relative to the rest of CA). My one concern is it too dry and flat...she knows I hate that and thus she maybe leaving that part out... Duke and I head to CA after Joe's Camp so I am praying that CA town just hits me.

I can't wait to join the rest of you Cali people and maybe even get Joe to hold the 2009 Camp in Ca...much warmer then IN.
