Tori, that's per my Polar. Do you test your resting heart rate? Mine is very low. It seemed like a lot to me as well, but I asked my Polar rep and he said that it was where it's supposed to be based on my hr and muscle mass. Who knows? |

Topic: Julie's Journey to the Pros! Ok, I want to know why you burn so many more calories than I do? My bike today was 53 min, ave hrt 139 and I only burned 355 calories according to my Polar heart rate monitor. Are you getting your info from the heart rate monitor or someplace else? I want the same info as you. My treadmill says I burn waaay more calories than the watch does, too. Nice workout, btw. ;-) |

I'm hoping the lower carbs kick in and I drop some mega weight the next 2 weeks. My vacation is coming up and I won't be weighing and measuring food so I need to be on schedule.

Must be something in the summer air that makes people want to go for broke. I went for it in squats today while the supervisor in the gym was talking to me about how you should go light on squats. I told him that I am now ignoring him and turned my ipod on. I made a PR of 275 for 2 which is great for me. I am finally squatting more that my blubberous bodyweight. 430 is pretty close to your goal (440 right?). |

But if you want it, I will definately sell it to you. That Hack Squat you got owned on runs right at 2k. Everyone Besides Lucas, Here is my pathetic workout from this morning. 1.) Rack presses - 315 x 2, 365 x 1, 415 x 1, 430 x 1......way to heavy 2.) Military rack presses - 135 x 4, 185 x 1, 225 x 1, 240 x 1, 250 x 1 3.) Decline Skullcrushers with ez curl bar - 45's each side x 8 x 2, 45's and a 10/side x 8 4.) Incline Cable Flys - 60 x 10 x 3 5.) Lateral DB raises - 35's x 10 x 3 6.) Rope pushdowns - 120 x 10, 140 x 8 x 2 My shoulder is poping now like something is messed up. I'm sure it will be fine. |

Topic: Summerset's log...No more last place! No worries Tori, I had a day like that on my eighth week, just ate a pound of cherry sours then finished it off with a box of kraft dinner mac and cheese. Finished at 210/668/56 on macros of 250/350/40 (luckily it was a high carb day). Just a little bit over! Took a couple of days to get over the guilt but Joe didn't change my program at all. It happens. I think I had some great workouts on the days after. lots of glycogen! I also think I lost weight that week. Holy geez, that was 20 weeks ago. I think you'll find you will bounce back stronger than ever. |
