Hi everyone!!  I have been on the forums for a while now tracking everyone else's progress and I think it is time to start tracking mine.  I want to say to everyone-WOW!  Your dedication inspires me everyday the way each and everyone of you are dedicated to this way of life-your passion.. 

I have 2 competitions in mind for 2008- Dr. Joe's shoe and also MT's.  I am new to the whole competitive scene- but really want to kick some serious butt.  

I am 5'1 and 108lbs.  I don't think I will compete much under this weight.  My goal for this year is to really build some serious muscle.  I have been working with a trainer since November 06, March 1st 2006 I met the doc and that is when my life/health changed for the better!!  I have been working out with Jim Cordova the last 10 weeks and have seen a nice transformation.  We are primarily doing legs together.  My trouble areas are my hams/glutes- They aren't quite as rock hard as I would like them to be but (no pun intended) we'll get there!  My current macros are 120C, 120P, 25-30 F.  While I was Really trying to loose I was at 80C, 120P, 20F.  I have been slacking a bit lately- and haven't written my numbers down so I am going to use this to keep me on track..  I need your support please- to keep me away from the carbs! Lift 5 days a week and do cardio 1x a week.

September has been a crazy month for me being sick for almost 2 weeks and having my wisdom teeth cut out this week.  I went back to the gym today to ease into it (stitches and swelling still fresh) to get ready to do legs on Monday or Tuesday.  Walked on Treadmill at 3mph at 15% incline for 35min.  Then did smith machine lunges- 100 reps no weight.

Kristin, I didn't know you worked out with Jim Cordova- Wow!  How cool! 

You are doing the same two shows I am in 2008.  Where do you live again?  We have to get together & plan & plot.  :)

We can keep each other accountable until next August.  We have the same plan- build some muscle!  Yahoo!!!

Yeah, it is awesome.  I thought my legs were in good shape until I started working with him.  I can barely walk after each workout!

I thought you were doing both of those shows also.  I live in Evansville where Joe's will be.  We definitely need to plan and plot- and build muscle at the same time :)

Kristin - Great new thread!  I'm thrilled.  You have plenty of time.  Definitely write EVERYTHING DOWN.  You are accountable now.  You and me both sista.

Nice job on the thread Kristin!!!!  Legs with Cordova...hmmm...you are a brave woman indeed!  Keep up the good work and I echo everyone's comments about writing everything down.  It's the only way.

I am SO jealous that you get to work with Cordova!  

But, if you start to look too much like him.....well, you'll have to back off the weights a bit.  LOL!!!! Tongue out

Okay, so today ok day.  Didn't hit gym (technically day off) but did Plyo's at home.  Trying to increase cardio, burn some body fat off.  Food was good today other than lunch at outback took up 1/2 my macros.

1 mile walk

30 min plyo's (fun to do with the dog trying to tackle you)!
Walking Lunge 4 x length of back yard (120 ft)
Side walking squat- 120 ft.
Backward Walking Lunge-120 ft
Jump and Squat 120 ft
High Knee Run- 120 ft
Butt Kicking Run-120 ft
Lying Flutter Kicks 120 (on rep counts when both legs kick once)
Lying Scissor Kicks 120

Shoulders with Cordova tomorrow.

Shoulders/Abs/Calves today- gotta love Jim!  So I upped my food yesterday and still lost a half pound.  I need to gain about 5lbs of lean muscle this is going to bea process  :)

Glad to see you have your own thread. Very cool. Just keep posting stuff up and the itme will fly, I promise. You will be on stage before you know it! I can't wait to follow your progress.

I agree with Shellie, I am jealous that you get to work out with Ji on the regular, in fact I am jealous that you are in the same town as Jim, Joe, and Sean...well maybe with the exception of the actual town...lol, but seriously, you have some amazing resources very near by, just look at what Joe did with Sean, before he got his hands on him, I hear Sean was only 5'3" 104 lbs, and NO Quad sweep!!  now he is all big and shreaded!!  but that is just what I hear from Funda...so consider the source.  lol
