My name is Alberto Nunez, I am a 25 year old bodybuilder/powerlifter, iron game, healthy lifestyle junkie. Of course out of everything on that list, drug free bodybuilder is probably what best describes me. While I have a great family, friends, and awesome overall support system, and plenty of other passions outside the gym. Sometimes I simply just need place to go to were I can talk about macros, feeling flat, new PR on a 20 rep squat. I have been loitering around the boards for a while, and everyone around here seems so nice, intelligent, and most of all natural! What a place to just come and simply chew the EFA's eh. As of right now I am currently with one of Dr. Joe's protoge's Mr. Layne Norton. Who has done a wonderfull job in helping me take my bodybuilding to the next level. I went for one of those guys who was to soft, to the point were my conditioning might become a one of my trademarks one of these days. I won my procard in INBA a few weeks, back and now I have an NGA show next week, and the big ONE...THE INBF CAPITAL CITY show on the 12th. Here are a few current pics, or the best ones I could dig up anyhow. I look forward to chatting it up with you guys. :) For anyone that is wondering.... 5'9" about 158-159

Gracias guys! July 12th is the really big show, that is the one with the WNBF pro card on the line. It has been quite the adventure this prep, it almost didn't happen. Aside from the a personal best conditioning wise what I think has been most valuable is that this prep almost didn't happen. I injured myself 14 weeks in, and about 4 weeks out from my first show. I messed up my sacrum thus messing my sciatic nerve, and I have limped through this whole prep pretty much. I still can't feel left foot all the time. Though I have done my best to make lemonade. Even though all my favorite movements have been pretty much taken out of my routine, my bread and butter that I used to build what I do have. It has been hard, but I have found a way from wasting away too much. I hope to get that WNBF pro card! If I do the plan is to take two years off from competing, make huge improvements and watch what I eat during the offseason. I didn't give my coach much to work with, I thought I knew how to count, but I was wrong. Looking back now I have no idea how I didn't start in much worse shape. So no more 120 f/450 c/250 p in the offseason for me. Going to keep it tight year round. A combination of that, two years of solid training, and a prep were I don't hurt myself. I don't see why I can't have a good first showing, and really take my conditioning to the level I know I can. I need to be leaner, work on the flow of my physique, and plain and simply need to gain more muscle. By the way I love this place, I feel so at home here. You guys are very positive people, why surround yourself with anything else? I don't feel insane here!

Welcome Alberto -- Yes, Capital City is the "big show" out here in California. I will also be at the show. It's gonna be a lot of fun. Great job on your training -- you look awesome!!!!! See ya there. Are you doing the NGA show in Folsom on Saturday? I'm competing in that one as well -- good stage practice.

Yes I am! I can't wait either. I hope to see some big improvement from my last show, just enough time to give have a little trial peak week, and grind out the last 3-4 pounds of fat I need to loose. Let's kick some booty girl!

Alberto, glad you like the forum community. Tell me more about that injury. I can't predict too much by just a handful of pictures, but I'm somewhere between, "You could screw everything up in your peak and still win" and "Cordova better enjoy those titles while he can." Nice work, man. Tell us more - you live in CA, right? What do you do?
