My career goals last year took a definitive turn when I decided to open a Diet Doc model for our franchising. After owning, selling, and still being associated with a great gym for 12 years, it was a move to grow more firm in the general population weight loss and health market in terms of perception.  Of course we included a great training studio within the facility for local clients, camps, and our own training.  Sean McCauley coming on board as the Training Director was a big step in moving that forward and his involvement has been nothing but awesome.  The first quarter of this year showed an increase of 47% over the last quarter in our local programming.  As nice as that is, I believe it's a direct reflection of the greater diversity and increased level of service we can provide.  Several months ago I quipped that at some point we would need another professional staff member and someone contacted me who brings experience and skill that will move us into a league where no one I believe can even compete.  Clients won't be able to find service and results like this anywhere.  Imagine another person with a degree in exercise physiology like Sean, but female to bring a new touch.  Then imagine she has a masters degree in counseling and is a licensed counselor with years of experience and a broad skill base.  In addition, someone so smart that she not only was a valedictorian, but 4.0 college grad, and achieved highest honors in grad school.  How about soon to be a figure pro superstar?  Training, classes and workshops dealing with the complex psychological issues with dieting and self image, private coaching/counseling, help with organizational management and corporate presentations...I'm loving life right now.

Dr. Joe finally read my resume! I feel so honored and LUCKY to be moving to Evansville to be a part of the Diet Doc. More importantly, to be able to impact a multitude of individuals from multiple perspectives. My dream has always been to have a career in which I can combine my skills in training, teaching, and counseling, and Dr. Joe has been gracious enough to create this for me. I can't think of a more inspirational group of people to begin working with and for, and I can't wait to get you guys on board in learning how to augment your physical training with the mental fortitude and skills to be at your very best on stage AND in life!

I would love to hear what sorts of issues you currently struggle with in regard to achieving your goals, getting healthy, making that transition (if you have decided that it's something you want to try) from being active to competing, food and emotional or stress eating, relationships, etc. I plan on offering various options for private counseling/coaching and want your feedback on how I can help facilitate the best approaches for each of you!

I was drawn to the Diet Doc as a 3 year competitor disillusioned by the sport of bodybuilding and needing some guidance and support. Dr. Joe replied to a cry-for-help email immediately, and I knew it was the right decision getting on board with him. After being involved with the Diet Doc since last May, I can't express just how solid a company I am beginning this exciting work for. Each one of you has an incredible opportunity to not only be involved with Dr. Joe with your nutrition, but Sean and myself in your physical aspirations, and to top it all off, with me as a guide toward acquiring the skills that can carry you to greater heights in life, in relationships, in competition, in your career! We are making this a well-rounded program that can't be beat!

Kori - Congrats!  And what a brave woman you are to work with those two!!!!  I'll warn you now...most of us send Joe panic emails, cries for help, freaking out.  You sure you want in on that?  HA!

Welcome aboard the crazy train Kori! Wink You are going to love it here. This is quite literally the best job on the planet earth. Get ready to work hard and smile a lot...because when I show up here each day, I have never once thought "I am going to work". Its more like "Huh, I am going back to my gym to have fun".

Joe and I have been doing a lot of really cool things here, both with general population clients as well as the bodybuilders. Now that Kori is on board, we can do even more and expand in entirely new directions. We've said it before and I'll say it again: Team K is taking over the world.

Thank you everyone for the very warm welcome!

Chug-a-chug-a-chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo Sean! I have boarded the crazy train and am ready to ride!

I welcome the panic emails, cries for help, freak-outs, all of it! We're all about support, right? And learning how to deal with this sport more effectively and relish in the process. If you're in it, it should be fun! The skills you can learn through competition and the mental aspects of prep can be extended across all areas of your lives!

Patti- I'll be in contact with you for sure. Thanks for offering your assistance. I'm going to be researching apartments to rent for now. If you have any recommendations (cheap but in a good part of town), let me know. Close to the Diet Doc too would be ideal. What is your email?

Mary-- ECSTATIC; JUMPING OUT OF MY SKIN WITH ANTICIPATION is how I feel! :)

Can't wait to meet everyone!
