Team K East Headquarters

As much as it pains me to give credit to the northeast coast, you all know that my biggest core of clients is there since I’ve done so much work with Nancy Andrews over the years.  As I’ve been seeking better ways to grow and take care of clients, you first must know the two distinct client groups we serve: General Population Weight Loss and Competitors.  Stabilizing and getting better and better in my local market is easier – I’m here, I am adding great staff, I have fantastic friends throughout the community, etc.  I’ve struggled over the last couple of years trying to think of ways I can grow and enhance what I do with my competitors without becoming a cookie-cutter/Walmart approach – it’s the antithesis of what I’m about.  How can I reach more people and still have the same or BETTER level of service that I’m known for?  Enter the one and only – Lucky Dog/Nancy Kornblum.  We’ve been scheming a bit and she is coming on board as the East Coast Director for Team K.  Some things you can look forward to:

·        *  A New Jersey physical location/headquarters

·        *  Posing/prep classes by Nancy and other Team K members

·        *  One-day mini prep camps as we’re doing here in Evansville – some will be attended by Sean, Kori, and I as well as hopefully a lot of our pro members out east

·        *  A major reach for cohesion for our organization pulling in people like Nancy Andrews, Janet Marscio and others who will assist and create synergy

·        *  Contest day assistance – Nancy and others will be onsite at key east coast shows to help with tanning, posing, last-minute prep and to provide a strong liaison to me as we help peak clients literally up to the time they walk on stage

More info to follow and more details will be fleshed out as we go.  The main goal: being better as a team and being better for all of you.  Secondary goal: to take over the world.  I’ve been too passive for too long and I believe we can advance our sport and our organization in much better ways as we pull together.  As Nancy just told me as we hung up, “Buckle up; we’re going in!”   

Let me be very clear - what I said was ............"Buckle up baby; we're going in!" .........please the meaning is entirely different!!

I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to "play" on this particular field.  For the past 5 weeks I have been at either an NPC or WNBF/INBF show and a couple of things are so clear to me.  The first, Joe brings a different level of quality and effexctiveness to this sport.  He allows us to be competitive, to be OUR individual best and do it in such a way that we are healthy and strong.  He allows us to embrace what makes this sport great.  Secondly, I have had the opportunity to help amazing competitors realize there potential and damn it - ITS FUN!!! 

I truly look forward to being available to the true "Mecca" and to raise the level of "value" offered through Joe's services.  I hope to prove I'm good for a bit more then comedic relief.

So please put your tray tables up and your seats in their up-right positions............. 

Nancy! Awesome! Congratulations! Joe- your decisions to expand, enlist the support and expertise of Team K members and others, and streamline the empire you  have created, is very wise. This is the perfect way to get more people involved and also feel that they are getting the attention that they are paying for and needing in so many different areas! There has been such a tremendous response to the camps and competitors requesting camps in their hometowns or close by-- this is a perfect way to reach out to them and show the world what we're about, what we stand for, and just how great natural bodybuilding can be!

Where are you in NJ again?  I know you've told me, but I'm old and forgetful!

So the doc sends me a crypic text the other night: "Biggest Team K move EVER. This is going to be HUGE!!"

HA!

This is just going to further expand our ever-improving reach all over the country. Needless to say, its going to not only make the competitors lives a LOT easier (having dedicated staff there to help is HUGE), but its also going to offer them more one on one coaching from the best in the world. That alone is unmatched by anybody else in the sport. Not to mention that we are now able to offer an even more potent TEAM concept. 

Every single day Joe and I scheme of ways to just keep climbing the mountain. To just keep improving The Diet Doc and Team K. Having another base of operations out east is going to really facilitate some rapid growth for us. Having more camps out there and a more formal presence is going to allow us to get in front of more people. And the more people see how dominant we are on stage, the more we are going to grow. Not to mention that I can't wait to get out there and hang out with the east coast contingent. This job rules!

New Jersey is a heck of a lot closer than Indiana so it sounds like something I could do a couple of times a year.

Maybe in a couple of years, Calves and I could start Team K North up here in Canada and the team could go international!!
