Sean hurt my back last Friday when I worked out with him, honestly I think it was on purpose. Maybe he is just jealous????
Actually, the workout with him was great. You know a leg workout is great when your legs are buckeling half way through it
. The injury I got to my back was, actually, not Sean's fault, it occured while I was preparing to squat some light weight. It is an old football injury in my lower to middle back, erector spinae I believe (correct spelling?). It is a deep muscle pull/sprain I think. The problem is it keeps coming back. I usually experience extreme stiffness, in that muscle area, together with pain. I can feel it when I breath, turn, walk.............think. Anyway, it is almost better now, I am going to try and workout out today, but I will have to be careful. But, anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on preventing this from happening as often, and what would be the best treatment when it does. THis time I used ice and heat, rotating, combined with aleave (spelled wrong).
It is worthy to note that I think it is an old muscle injury. This muscle area was first stomped on by a cleat in football practice. So it was a little sore, and than I was hit by a car in a grocery store parking lot, bumper contacting directly in the same area. So after these two incidents, needless to day, my back was killing me. It happened about 2 years or so ago, and it has flared back up numerious times.

, the back injury was in no way his fault. Had he not been there, I most likely would have tried to continue my squating, and made it worse. Being the wonderful, responsible trainer he is, he prevented me from doing so.....
