Shellie - and all reading:
When dieting down, the bodybuilder needs some of the ingredients in this cocktail but not every single one. Primarily the body builder requires Branch chains and perhaps the glutamine and creatine -
There is no way to discover if this product is culprit to holding fat unless you go off the product and see what happens.
Notice we are not concerned about you holding weight. We are concerned about you holding fat. Weight is good. In fact, down the line, you'll see off season: fat is good too. Meanwhile:
Regarding your product and to help you decide - this is what I can tell you:
the vitamin B complex assists with creatine and BCAA.
L-phenylalanine, the maltodexdrine and the sucralose= not beneficial for fat and for other reasons as well.
L-Tyrosine, L-taurine these are aminos. I believe they are neurtral as far as fat loss but may play a roll in water loss, but neutral with all the other chemicals present and accounted for.
Regarding the "Xpansion Matrix" with the Glycocyamine Glucuruonolactone, L- Citrulline, The medium chain triglycerides:
Glycocyanmine is more creatine in your coctail without a methly group. It converts to creatine and is an insuline sensitiser and therefore muscle building compound. Likely when you are dieted down to this extreme - it will have minimal effect for muscle "growth." (That is opinion).
Glucuronolactone is a natural by-product produced by the liver when you consume glucose. Since it is naturally occuring in the body, deficiencies are rare. It was originally developed as a chemical substance by the army to be given as a drug to soldiers fighting the Vietnam conflict. It reduces fatigue, enhances energy and produces a sense of well being. You find it in energy drinks mixed with caffeine. Side effects would include dizziness, nausea, sleeplesness and somesuch.
L-Citrulline here is another amino, non - essential - which means it is naturally occuring - and reduces muscle fatigue. It works with L-argenine which I'll assume you know all about and which in turn is necessary to synthesize L-creatine.
Medium Chain Triglyerides is either Palm oil or glyercerol
Cinnulin PF is a combination of cinnamon bark an vitamin C from corn dextrose and Palm oil. It's a trade marked product to control blood sugar that you can purchase separately.
you'll see that "in a Carbohydrate and Silicon dioxide Base" statement frequently at the bottom of these powders. I'm not sure how to describe that. It's tells me that it's a tasteless flour, mixer or dust substance that helps cut-in the chemicals and form the end-cocktail.
That's all I got.
