I've been looking at my past lean body mass (LBM) calculations and have discovered that when I am taking this product (E-BOL) I make tremendous muscular gains and great fat losses. I went from an estimated 179.21 lbs. of LBM to 184.38 is about 35 days. That was coupled with fat loss from 14.44 lbs of fat (FM) to 12.62 lbs! Now I realize that skinfold measurements have a 5% error range, but the measurements were done by the same trained professional both times, so the actual numbers may be incorrect but the gains in pounds are correct. E-BOL's ingredients are a bunch of seemingly horsh rubbish hocus pocus, but it seems to work. So I ordered it and have been taking it for almost 2 weeks. I was previously stuck in a rut, not progressing (I was actually losing somehow) And I have already gained 1/2 lb of LBM and lost 1.25 lbs of FM. Again same professional technicion (I'm a terrible speller!) 99% pure Ecdysterone (Rhaponticum carthamoides) 80mg Radix Cyathulae (20% Cyasterone) 100mg Rhodiola Rosea (15% rosavins, 5.1% Salidrosides) 41.66mg Ashwaghanda (1.5% withanolides) 277.6mg Inol 83.33mg Super Anabolic Coctain (TM) 187.86 6-Methyluracil (6mu) 6 keto diosgenin (100%) Has anyone ever tried this before, and if so what experiences did they have with it??? (ps side effect, dry mouth extreme! I'm thirsty all the time!)

I didn't think I'd be helpful b/c all I can tell you about is the little I know regarding the herbs: Ashwaghanda - this is from the pepper family and is an ancient Indian and Ayrvedic medicine. It has been used traditionally to promote the wellness of the general immunse system. Specifically it can target stress and inflamation which is what I imagine is its purpose here. If you are also doing a signifcant amount of stressful/high inpact bone jarring actions or consuming toxins that cause inflamation (coffee, refined sugar, flour, splenda) the actions of ashwagahanda that may counteract the effect of stress may be offset. Rhodiola Rosea - is of chinese origin and is in the same scientific class as the magnolia. It is most commonly used for stress and fatigue. Rather than considered a stimulant which wakes you up, it fights the effects of fatigue by keeping you alert and working to sharpen both mental and physical performance. People have taken it prior to taking exams for example. It is also known to be taken in steady doses for depression. Again -- do you think if you have a cup of coffee and IHops - and your blood sugar rises and falls during the day - you will really notice anything here? I've taken both these together and independently (in 2005) experimenting with dosage etc for both- without being on caffeine or other toxins. These herbs are mild and I did not notice any positive effects. I'm sure they do benefit some. Perhaps with the other chemicals in this coctail they extract more of a bang for their ancient medicinal buck. Neither of these herbs have a documented negative effect, nor do I believe either is causing your extreme thirst.

Yea, it does seem to improve my mood. Not so much a happy mood, but a more even keel mood. Really the main question is why do I tend to gain so much muscle while on this product? Is it the ecdysterone?? Or maybe the drop in stress levels taking my cortisol levels down a notch? I'm going to kind of make this a log of my progress while on the E-BOL, I have about 2 weeks left in the bottle so I will document my BF%, LBM, FM, and average caloric intake (with macro averages) from begining to end of the bottle. Maybe other people could do that with their supplements too so we could know what works and what doesnt...

Well - Ashwaganda has components or molecules called withanolides. These are what make the herb anti-infalmatory, like ginseng. Withanolides are steroidal (but not anabolic). They bring down coritisol, helping the immune system in a non specific sense -- they can help insomnia and memory. Rhodiola is also working on stress, fatigue as well as depression. But its approach is more like a mao inhibitor - and to optimize serotinin. I'm glad that the supplement is working for you. The supplements do not directly grow muscle. However, by lowering stress, increasing physical and mental alertness, and decreasing fatigue, the herbs stack muscle growth in your favor. I'm sure the other components of the coctail contribute to your muscle growth and how you feel as well. Personally I noticed little if no changes when I experimented with these two herbs -- separately and/or together. However everybody is different.

If it has the words "...sterone" and/or numbers in the ingredients "6-XXXX", I stay the hell away from it. Prohormones are punishable with a 7 year ban and I am paranoid as hell about it. If there is any doubt, throw it out. Thats the motto you have to live by in this sport.

Even if the bottle says non-hormonal? And is there anyone I can ask who will officially know the answer that you know of??

Considering the best body fat calculation still has a 3+% margin of error and anything not measured as fat is lean body mass (including the 70% water in your body) any calculation within a 35 day range I'd trust even less than Obama's ability to pick a church.

6-KETO diosgenin is a natural derivative of a class of compounds called sapogenins Pubmed said this: [Experimental study of the anabolic activity of 6-ketoderivatives of certain natural sapogenins][Article in Russian]
It is shown that 6-ketoderivatives of natural sapogenins, viz. agigenin, diosgenin and alliogenin, display the anabolic activity and do not manifest any androgenic properties. The compoud IV/(25 R)-5alpha-spirostan-2alpha, 3beta, 5alpha-triol-6-OH/produces an accelerated gain of weight in rats, and also an increase in the weight of the liver, heart, kidneys, musculus tibiliasis anterior and augments the total amount of protein therein. All of the above-mentioned changes become more pronounced with the study substance introduced to young animals. Castration of sexually immature rats greatly mitigates the anabolic effect of the compound IV. [Effect of 6-methyluracil on regulatory parameters of lipid peroxidation in thermal burn][Article in Russian]
The effects of 6-methyluracil given in single intraperitoneal doses of 50 and 2.7 mg/kg on the healing of burn wounds and some physicochemical parameters of lipid peroxidation regulation were studied in the liver and erythrocytes of noninbred albino rats with thermal burns. 6-Methyluracil was shown to alter the time course of a wound process and to accelerate the healing of burn wounds. The drug doses under study were found to exert a great effect on the level of lipid antioxidative activity and the composition of phospholipids of the liver and erythrocytes, which remained for a long time after burn. The findings suggest the hypothesis that the capacity of 6-methyluracil to be involved in the regulation of lipid peroxidation processes underlies its therapeutic effect. The only loaded word used in this is the word anabolic, but it was non-androgenic. So hopefully this means nothing as far as being illegal in the WNBF...eeek 7 years is a long time!

I agree completely Dr. Joe, but what if I were to tell you the same techinicion takes the skinfolds every time, and I make sure to weight myself at the same time every bodyfat day as well as drink the same amounts of fluids and eat the same amount of food the night prior and the morning of the testing? On another note I have noticed a trend in my LBM it has more to do with volume and recovery than anything else. I do a 3 week progressive volume increase followed by a 1 week unloading. I have noticed that I tend to gain like 3 pounds of LBM after the unloading week, and lose about 1-2 pounds on the 3rd week (my hell week). Which is good news i guess b/c that means a 1 pound gain per month haha. If taking BF% estimates how long do you think one should wait to see any changes... and how would someone document their changes precontest time? I know the mirror, but what if you like to be scientific. With the bodyfat % people can find out exactly (estimatedly?!) how many calories they need to maintain LBM, and how many calories they need to eat to lose blank amont of fat. This week (peak volume week) overtraining on purpose! I consumed 21,747 kcal. and lost 1.8 lbs! (3500x-1.8 = -6,300kcal) Somehow managing to lose 1.89 lbs of LBM and gain 0.09 lbs of fat. (all estimated of course) I am assuming that my glycogen stores are depleted becasue of the overtraining, and I believe they will supercompensate this week with the decrease in volume, although I am cutting to around 5% here in about 5 weeks... or at least until my innie becomes an outie. Ha, but I digress. If I wanted to maintain my same weight last week I shold have eaten 21,747 + 6,300 =28,047! Which would bring my daily average up from 3,106 to 4,007. My daily average macro was 281 CHO 325 PRO and 75 FAT.
