Without knowing the breakdown of the "propietary blend" all you know is that you get 1.3 grams of protein for two capsules. In terms of aminos, I'd buy what I wanted - and really just BCAAs - which are all in here, but you don't know the amounts.

Yes, you are right. I guess that's why you the diet Doctor. My problem is finding a good amino acid that my stomach can tolerate without giving me problems.

BCAAs are notorious for diarrhea/loose stools if you consume too much or you're just really sensitive to them. If you can't tolerate them, you just need to be better with protein powder supplementation....use a good whey before and after training if you can tolerate that (back-to-back liquid meals/protein powder - also a possible GI issue for some.) Lucas, you're eating enough that you don't really need them, but not a bad idea. 4-6 grams before training, after training, and then pre-cardio is also a good idea. I'm not a big fan of taking a bunch between meals and at meals - your protein content in food should be enough.

Miki, the above mentioned aminos I have bought and they are working well for me. I am sure you can find a very good BCAA supplement that your stomach will tolerate. As for me, when I try a new supplement for the first time, I read the label and use less than what they recommend then I adjust the levels to suit. -- Using too much of anything does not go well with me and I make notes of certain amounts and types of supplements that work well, those I keep and the others are gone. I am very sensitive to supplements, "WEIRD " I guess ?? Everybody is different just like you all said, that's why there is no true cookie cutter diet to fit everyone. I take my BCAAs' just before training and during training. I've learnt something about BCAAs' recently from you all and that's to use capsules or the plain powder instead of the sweetened version. And yes, Joe, there is no breakdown of the proprietary blend to let me know what I'm getting, TRUE.

Thank you, naturalbajan. I'll adjust the amount first and see if it works. I usually don't have problems with supplements, except BCAA and HMB. Yeap, the ones I need most.
