Haven't been posting lately, just reading  the forums. Everyone competing looks great (as usual doc), I wouldn't expect anything less. Myself I am just having fun training, no contests on the radar yet.   Its all about fun anyway don't take it too serious, keep it in perspective. I have been enjoying my 3 kids activities. One rides horses, my son plays baseball and wrestles. I can't believe the body comp on some of the parents, do they own a mirror? They all ask me @ dieting, I just reply "cut two prongs off the fork". I have to remember we are not the normal ones.

My middle daughter is a mutant (12yrs old 5'5" tall 110lbs of muscle she eats well and workout a little) lacrosse player, I am traveling to a few of the bigger summer tourneys with her. I am going to the national draw in NJ this weekend. She just completed the 6th gade and is playing with a varsity club team the girls are 4-5 yrs older.

Most of the girls she plays with are from Ridgefield CT, I think that is Mary's territory. They are all TALL with blond ponytails. Mary whats in the water down there? Anyway I will try to post more.

Hey Steve - good to see you.  Yes you should post more.  It's great reading about you and your family and what you are up to.

You have the same back drop - is that a Reg Bradford?

Yo, Steven!  Fun watching the kids enjoy sports isn't it?  Not sure about mutant, but all 4 of mine have unique attributes:

Cameron just turned 14 and is a tremendous scoring forward, guard (he's 5'10.5" now) and is the best shortstop in the city at his age (just got picked for the allstar team that will be playing for a national tourney spot).  He's like a shopvac - nothing gets by him.  And he's probably his team's best pitcher - not quite the fastest but freaky control and tons of strikeouts.

Trey is in his first year of live-arm pitch at 9-years-old.  With kids one and two years older he is the biggest dude on the field, strikes out virtually every batter (we have to convince opposing coaches that he really is our 9-year-old pitcher since you have to pitch a 9 at least one inning.)  He actually jacked two this year.  Never seen a kid at his age go yard and he did it once last year and twice this year.

Ashlyn is 11 and actually is stronger than the boys.   Plays first and third and pitches and has the body that could be a DI player.  Ironically she's not as competitive and doesn't enjoy playing with a killer attitude but she plays hard and likes it.  When she connects with the ball lives are in danger.

Lynnea is 5 and finished her second season of t-ball.  She's all white fiber.  Every sprint and race she beat her entire team by twice the length.  Best eye-hand coordination and so far the best natural athlete of the whole clan.

So there's my thread-hijacking, self-serving gloat on the kids Embarassed.  Good hearing from you, Steve!
