Thank God..everything is just fine....

Well this is off the topic, I just want to share , what happened  tonight"

we have Sunday evening church, Thank god, I  stayed home to do my cardio! this was one time That I can say this and mean it...  THANK GOD for the cardio....

Butch went  to church ...( on the motorcycle ) as we always do .. this time I would have been on my own bike  behind him.. wow.. Glad I stayed home..for CARDIO! .

 he  was stopped at a red light,and hit from behind , the car that hit him was hit from behind from another car full force , the car that was pushed into Butch.. he heard  it  and hit the throttle on his bike.

 he was hit  from behind and threw him and the bike into the air this is not a small machine a flhx..h/d..... he said he just hung on and down the bike slammed to the ground,on it 's side with him still on .. as he slid down the road into traffic.. just about got hit by a car,  crawled off the road... all  body parts are still in tack ! wow..

 some road rash  we spent  the night at the ER.. bike  not looking to good!!!! and  we are  nuts..about  our machines...  but that  can always be replaced..

 as for my  buddy... they x-rayed him head to toe.. and  the doc said .. go home..  and rest some ..but keep moving.. WRONG THING TO TELL ME......   HE will Be at the gym in the AM........

   that Doc.. looked at me in the ER.. like what  is this  ? YEP.. they caught me in my CARDIO..OUTFIT.. and a great hair style...  all I can say is MY GOD IS GOOD!!!! I still have the best  work out partner!!!  for the am.. and he is going .. this is my time to get even !!! what a Night..

Wow...scary.  Glad everyone's alright.  Thank goodness.

Star - glad Butch is o.k.  We've had some very scary incidents on the Harley too.  It's the others that you have to watch out for sometimes.  Cars and animals.  We had a Bobcat run out in front of us in Tennesee and almost took the bike down.  That's when old thunder thighs came in handy and was able to hold the Road King up from hitting the ground.  We had to pull over and take a breather to regroup before we could take off again.  We were the lead of 21 bikes so we were lucky nobody else was hurt too. 

Hopefully Butch will have his bike back by August and we can all go for a ride together.  Really looking forward to it.  Take care and ride safe.

   Star I'm so glad Butch is ok. That had to have been one awful night for you.

 Thank You all.. for  the concern,  well this  am..  he is beat up!

(can you belive he refused  doing cardio with me this am...) I was  just thankful .. to have him wake up next to me !!!!

 we are getting him into his doc..  this afternoon, his vision and neck..  his neck is already plated...  well  it could be alot worse.....  I will keep you all posted..

Like    I  said .. He  has been  working out with me for the last few months.. "  Thank God  he   was able to hold onto that Bike.   " it  must be the work out....(Sean)....

Thanks  Jane.. yep.. that is never a good call to get.. the body screams out with STRESS!!!  

Patti, we ride  with a group the Sons Of God.. and I know that feeling..  we have appx 250..bikes that make some long trips..  ( I do not like large groups..) I have seen some   death  related .. acc/  but   we all know that ....  when you ride.. you know what  can happen..  I  guess it is life.. and I will be darn if this will stop me !!!  I will be riding in AUG!  for sure.. ( lets hope his bike is out of the shop.. ) ..after this .. I'm not to sure if i will let him on mine... (lol) his is all beat up.....( I thank God that is all..)

Kerrie...  Thank you.. I always  say.. I hope I never have to get that call..  it is  amazing how well we can control our emotions..  you have no choice..  it was a long night.... But we are just very greatful... that he is doing  well...

And just when I was looking at motorcycles.   Star, I know Butch - it would take a semi to take him out of the game.

   what  happened to Butch let's say that one was just a freak thing..... JUST GET ONE!!! life is  a risk.....take it.. and get a  real bike... if you know what I mean..

you are  right .. I felt as if I was the one on that bike yesterday!! I feel ready to rock and roll today....Thanks...  that day of rest.. was the key...

 this man is giving me gray hair...   or either that  he is trying to get me into  the medical field instead of the education.... I have had to be  his  nurse for the last   four years in a row..  like I told him this one is going to  cost him big time $$$$$$$  and  the best part he want s to take my solo seat off my bike so we can both ride.. on mine.. while his is getting re-built...I just like to keep him on his toes.. I said Oh.. are you  on back.... 

 he said....NEVER!!!(LOL)  imagine that  a man with a ego?

I must say, I would't want to be without him.. he has the best out look on life... and we  enjoy  each day.. no matter what  storm may blow in.. just hang on !!!

Star - Really glad that Butch is okay!  Had to be a scary moment or two for both of you.

BTW, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the avatar!  What an amazing back...
